Stow Man Falsely Sold Foreign-Made Body Armor To U.S. Law Enforcement

A Stow man who smuggled foreign-made body armor into the U.S. and then sold it to law enforcement is heading to prison.

Seventy-year-old Vall Iliev pleaded guilty earlier this year to charges in the case, after he touted the gear as being made in Ohio.

He was sentenced yesterday to more than five years in federal prison.
