DEI policies are receiving the axe in the Akron Public Schools district.
The Board of Education on Monday voted to kill a number of policies regarding diversity, equity and inclusion at the direction of the Trump administration, who has threatened the federal funding of school systems that continue those such efforts.
Separately, the board plans to meet in a special session today to review a completed report on an investigation into Superintendent Dr. Michael Robinson.
