The Summit County Sheriff's Office is working to improve the way it addresses addiction at the county jail.
Sheriff Kandy Fatheree says the office will be hiring an Addiction Service Coordinator to deal directly with addiction issues among inmates.
Funding for the new hire comes from a grant issued by the Ohio Attorney General's Office.
