Handlers at the Akron Zoo say their female white-cheeked gibbon named Parker is pregnant.
This will be the second baby for Parker who is expected to give birth in July.
According to the zoo, white-cheeked gibbons are critically endangered.
The Akron Zoo participates in the Gibbon Species Survival Plan which works to establish a genetically-diverse population of gibbons in accredited zoos.
