Akron native Frank LaRose is running for another statewide office.
LaRose -- a Republican currently serving his second term as Ohio's Secretary of State -- announced his candidacy for state auditor on Thursday.
LaRose ran for the senate last year but lost in the primary to eventual general election winner Bernie Moreno.
