A woman is hospitalized today after a Wednesday afternoon house fire in Canton.
Crews responded just after 1 p.m. to a home on Union Avenue Southwest and arrived just as three people were making their escape.
The injuries of the hurt woman are described as non-life-threatening.
Residents in the home had seven pets and most survived except for one dog.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
