Sentencing has been ordered for a former Hudson doctor convicted of rape.
Mahmud Kara was convicted in December with prosecutors having said the doctor had sexually assaulted a woman at his home on Fox Trace Lane.
Kara has been sentenced to serve eight to twelve years in prison and will have to register as a Tier III sex offender every 90 days for the rest of his life.
