Members of the Akron Public Schools board are meeting in a special session today.
Two reasons have been noted for the meeting -- to speak with an attorney and to consider the employment, dismissal and / or discipline of someone in a personnel matter.
The meeting comes as an investigation has been underway into Superintendent Michael Robinson and other members of district leadership.
The board had not been scheduled to hold its first meeting of the year until next Monday.
