Records show the Akron police officer who fatally shot Jazmir Tucker had previously shot and killed someone else in the line of duty.
Fifteen-year-old Tucker was fatally shot by Officer Davon Fieldson on Thanksgiving night near East Avenue and Vernon Odom Boulevard.
That incident remains under investigation.
According to records, Fieldson was one of two officers who shot and killed a man during a February 2022 call.
Fieldson was also on the scene in Firestone Park in 2022 when officers fatally shot Jayland Walker, though Fieldson did not fire his weapon in that incident.
