Legislation authorizing a review of the Akron Police Department's use of force policy is expected to be introduced in a city council meeting today.
The review would be led by a Chicago-based policy consulting group and a legal team led by former U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch.
The move follows the Thanksgiving night officer-involved fatal shooting of 15-year-old Jazmir Tucker in Sherbondy Hill.
