The City of Akron is partnering with Keep Akron Beautiful for a program aimed at improving recycling performance.
Now through August 10th, Keep Akron Beautiful teams will be glancing at folks recycling carts and, if they see something that doesn't belong, they will leave behind an "oops" tag.
Keep Akron Beautiful says that the teams will not be combing through anyone's recycling, just taking a quick look, and, if you get an "oops" tag, your recycling will go uncollected for the week to allow time for things to be made right.
