North Canton Council members are considering a measure to prohibit the sale of marijuana and cannabis.
The proposal would outlaw the cultivation, processing, and sale of marijuana and cannabis regardless of its intended use, be it medical or recreational.
Residents would still be permitted to grow marijuana in their own homes for their use.
Council plans to take up the proposed measure on June 3rd.
