Akron police are searching for a suspect who robbed a local McDonald's at gunpoint.
The incident happened early Friday morning at the East Waterloo Road location when a suspect, who had been hiding in a bathroom until the restaurant closed, pulled out a gun and demanded an employee get money out of the safe.
The suspect then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact police.
