Summit County residents are being asked to donate milkweed pods.
The Ohio Pollinator Habitat Initiative is a grassroots organization that works to maintain and improve pollinator habitats, such as monarch butterflies, throughout Ohio.
Starting Thursday, an outdoor collection bin will be placed outside of the Akron Urban League on Vernon Odom Boulevard through November 11th.
