It’s been 15 years and fans of Slipknot have been patiently waiting for a long-shelved “lost album.” But busy lead singer (and solo rocker) Corey Taylor has given fans an update and taken some blame.
“I just went back and listened to all that stuff and it’s so dope,” he admitted. He stopped short of giving an exact release date, but confirmed “next year- finally man!” is the band’s goal.
Taylor blames his hectic solo career for the album’s delayed release. He said mastermind Shawn “Clown” Crahan told him to stop “putting s**t out there which keeps conflicting with when I want to release it.” Stay patient, Slipknot fans.
