NO SHORTAGE OF FUN STUFF THIS WEEKEND, and I've got a few suggestions....

THE CLEVELAND INDIANS OPEN THE HOME portion of their 2014 schedule tomorrow afternoon (weather permitting) at Progressive Field.  The game is a sellout but I'm sure you could pick up tickets somewhere if you MUST go.  The game will be on Channel 3.

LET'S GO BACK TO THE 1980's.  THE Tangier presents Michael Stanley live on stage for shows Friday and Saturday at 8:30pm.  Tickets are going fast so you might try the Tangier website at www.thetangier.com.

JOE VITALE JUNIOR AND HIS band will perform on stage at the Akron Civic Theatre Friday night at 8pm.  Joe's father was a well respected musician who played with some of the finest musicians in the world throughout the 1960's and 1970's (he's from Canton and has also written a book about it).  He passed on some of those skills to his son and this should make for a rocking evening.  Get tickets at www.akroncivic.com.

ALEX ORTIZ, THE BAD BOY OF COMEDY will headline this weekend at the Funny Stop comedy club in Cuyahoga Falls.  One show tonight (featuring WKDD's Keith Kennedy) and two shows on both Friday and Saturday.  Get all the info on this and other shows at www.funnystop.com.

THE WEATHERVANE PLAYHOUSE IN AKRON presents 'Life With Father' through April13.  It's a comedy and tickets are available at www.weathervaneplayhouse.com.

HAVE A GREAT EVENING AND JOIN me for our Friday get-together at 9am tomorrow on 640 WHLO.  JIM
