A COLLEGE STUDENT AT THE FASHION Institute of Technology in New York City got a surprise when she moved into her dorm room last Friday. $150,000 worth of cocaine in HER suitcase. Authorities believe she was an unsuspecting "drug mule." The 21 year old had just flown to NYC from Trinidad, and cops think a drug smuggling ring probably put the blow into the wrong suitcase. They also believe corrupt custom agents, baggage handlers or airport workers in both the Caribbean and NYC may have teamed up on the scheme. She called police upon the discovery.

A SCREWBALL IN LOUISIANA HAS been charged with animal cruelty. Why? Authorities near Baton Rouge discovered approximately 2,000 animals in his house. Among the finds were dogs, cats, geese, chickens, pheasants, snakes, rabbits, turtles and peacocks. How did they find them? The smell was horrendous. Many of the animals had to be put down because they were in such bad shape. By the way, the home owner had no idea why authorities were taking his animals away.
