JOHN DINGELL IS RETIRING FROM THE House of Representatives, which isn't really a big thing, because people do it all the time.  What makes Dingell different is, he's 87 years old!  Now my father is 89, and while he's the greatest guy in the world, I can't imagine him working in Congress!  While it's quite an accomplishment, Dingell really SHOULD retire and write a book.  After all he's been in Washington since 1955.  So much history has happened since then and he had a front row seat for all of it.  I've never cared for term limits, but maybe we should have a retirement age for all congressmen.

I'VE BEEN FOLLOWING THE ASIAN CARP problem in the Great Lakes for a number of years now, and it looks like SOMEBODY is trying to do something about.  In case you haven't been following the story, the Asian Carp is a potential problem for Lake Erie fishing.  The carp are not native to America and present a huge problem for native fish and other marine life.  Sport fishing could come to an end which would be devistating for Ohio's economy. (seems these fish eat anything and everything which would wipe out food sources for native fish).

I WROTE ABOUT THE CLEVELAND INDIANS yesterday, and am somewhat excited about the Tribe playing their first exhibition game tomorrow in Goodyear, Arizona.  The Indians and Reds get together for an afternoon game.  We also have Indians reports daily on 640 WHLO.  Finally, we can talk about something other than the Browns.

IF YOU LISTEN TO MY SHOW ON 640 WHLO, you may be aware that I am not the biggest fan of Home Owners Association groups.  For the most part these are people who want to tell others how to live their lives.  I wll have a story for you tomorrow about an HOA that is not being very kind to a homecoming soldier and his family.  This one might freak you out, so join me at 9am tomorrow morning and we'll talk about it.
