Man Charged With Trying To Poison Cats Pleads Not Guilty

A man accused of trying to poison cats with bowls of antifreeze at a Green mobile home park is pleading not guilty.

Police said on Friday they had arrested 47-year-old James Genovese on charges including poisoning animals and attempted animal cruelty.

Genovese is the manager of the Sandy Beach Trailer Park where he allegedly tried to poison the cats.

He was arraigned on Saturday and is due back in court next month.
