Woman Is Awarded One-Billion Dollars In Revenge Porn Case

Before you think about going the revenge porn route, pay attention.

A Texas woman has been awarded more than one-billion dollars in a lawsuit over revenge porn.

Jane Doe's ex-boyfriend stalked her and repeatedly posted sexually-explicit pictures of her online after their breakup.

They were taken during the relationship and after Marques Jackson hacked a camera system at Jane Doe's mother's home.

He sent the images without her consent to her friends, family, and coworkers in the Houston area.

The lawsuit also showed how Jackson stole money from her bank account.

Her attorneys admit that their client will never see all the cash, but they say the verdict sends a message to other scorned lovers.

Jane Doe said she received little assistance from the police, so she decided to take the civil route.
