Tool's Maynard James Keenan is clearing up why he wore drag attire during a recent show in Daytona Beach, Florida.
The singer claims that his outfit at the Welcome to Rockville festival, which included a blonde wig, prosthetic breast, and red lipstick, wasn't in protest of Florida's anti-drug law.
During an interview with The Messenger, Keenan said it had nothing to do with the law adding that he's been cross-dressing for years.
He also said the technology for prosthetics has come a long way and he was "just considering bringing back the look."
Last week, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed some bills against drag shows and transgender rights.
