NYC Is Running Out Of Room For Migrants, Opts To Use School Gyms As Housing

At least three more buses of asylum seekers are arriving in New York City today as officials consider school gyms to place them.

At least 65-thousand have landed in the city so far. Mayor Eric Adams says the city is looking at upwards of 20 school gyms to possibly house migrants with the city out of shelter room.

Adams says the gyms are separate from the school buildings but some parents are still concerned for their children's safety and are not happy they were told that students can't use the gyms for activities and recess.
