Ed Sheeran has been found not liable in his music copyright infringement case.

The singer was accused of ripping off chords from Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On" when creating his 2014 hit "Thinking Out Loud."

His lawyers argued the only things the songs have in common are "unprotectable" chord progressions that have been used in many other songs.
