Summit County Animal Control is expanding evening and weekend hours for those considering adoption.
The facility on Opportunity Parkway is now open weekdays from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturdays, and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays.
Animal Control also advises that all dogs and cats up for adoption now will have been microchipped though adoption pricing will remain the same.
That is $94 for dogs and $60 for cats.
