Maria Being Felt In The Dominican Republic

Hurricane Maria is lashing the Dominican Republic this morning.  As of 5 a.m. Eastern time, the National Hurricane Center said Maria's top winds were 115 miles an hour, making it a Category 3 hurricane.  On the forecast track, Maria will continue to pass offshore of the Dominican Republic's northeastern coast today.

Yesterday, the hurricane roared through Puerto Rico, knocking out all power on the island.
